Celebrate Success
We’ve had tremendous success in giving residents a voice in partnership with the Town, District and County Councils to improve roads, walls, clear gardens and streets of rubbish, identify challenging areas and greatly improve the Castle Estate.
We have partnered with the Freedom Community Project to help deliver much needed support on the Castle Estate and we have been granted planning permission to site the Castle Estate Community Hub on the Castle Estate park to deliver those services from sustainably.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and volunteers particularly County Councillor Duncan Mcgregor for the funding to develop and build the Castle Estate Community Hub from the Derbyshire County Council Prioritys fund.
